or ancestors
I am doing research on my
own family tree as well as on the trees of famous aristocracy families.

Most urgently I´m
searching the son of Anton von Bychow a nobleman
from Pommerania Johann Freiherr of Bychow
from Lübtow and Koppalin / Pommerania/West-prussian. This is about
5km west of the lake of Zarnowitz on the baltic Sea. The family "of Bychow"
are ancestors of Bychowen from whom the name Bychowski
or Bykowski
could be derived to. This nobleman is the illegitimate father of my great-great-grandmother
Eleonore
Korf,
alias of Bychow
(* 15.5.1805 Koppalin/ Pommern, + 11.02.1877 Schleswig/Schlei ). Her mother,
Catharina Korff
was the stablemaid of the named nobleman from Koppalin, who may have exercised
the former "privilege of the first night."
Further I'm searching in
the USA for the ancestors from the daughter of my gr-gr-great-grandfather
Johann Christopher
Lau
( * 22.4.1815), my gr-great-grandmother Christina Henriette
Lau
(*14.3.1836 Husum), who probably died 1906 in San
Franzisko during the great earth-quake. At last she lived there
in "Kings-Doughter-Home, ".
Maybe someone living in Californa is
able
to help ?
She was the first wife of
my gr-great-grandfather Heinrich Wilhelm Hinrichsen
( * 1.11.1825 Osseken/Pommern, + 3.9.1878 Schleswig/Schlei).

But also the descendants
of my wife Petra are interesting. Here are some surnames : Wondollek
( coming from Wahrpuhnen/ Sonntag, Ostpreussen); Dumke
(Oschersleben/Harz);
Lipke
(Marienwerder/Graudenz);
Of interest is especially
someone who was a chief-seargeant during 1. world-war Hermann Lipke
( * 1870 Marienwerder, + 1918 ? ), whose illegitmated father is said to
have been a Count or an Earl of Brandenburg.
